For anyone thinking about this
A huge house finished to a high comfortable standard with brilliant facilities. Even with a large group, we felt expansive and at ease. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the hospitality from our hosts was top-notch. We couldn't have asked for a better base to explore the beautiful surroundings!

I was absolutely appalled by the sofa bed which was supposedly "excellently provided". it had a ridge that made sleeping an utter nightmare. shocking, really. and the parking? Tighter than a sardine can. as a guest of such high stature, i expected preferential treatment and maybe even a complimentary upgrade. but no, almost left a good review but just couldn’t.

While the shower was lovely, it could have been a bit hotter for a more comfortable experience.

Leyburn vibes 🌄
What a jol! The brekkie was top-tier, fresh local ingredients, and even had those lekker homemade jams. Came back to find a stunning cake just waiting for us after a long hike, wow! The hosts were so friendly, even helped us plan our outings.
Just a tad tight for parking, so if you're not too keen on squeezing in, might find it easier to leave the bakkie in town.

The lodge felt like home with its spacious kitchen, which was perfect for my large family of five kids. We loved exploring the Yorkshire Dales, where we enjoyed hill walking and biking. The welcoming hosts provided a great atmosphere, and the breakfast was fantastic!
My kids wished for more outdoor play areas.
